Your Thoughts

There are five comments.

i love this building!it's one of my favourite! and i adore NY architecture *.*

I think this is a wonderful building, it's mix of "new and old" styles make it a nice, but unfortunatly hidden addition to the wonderful skyline.

Jorge - Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 @ 12:42am

The original building had such elegant detailing. It looks like someone took one of London's architectural travesties and dropped it on the roof. What a tasteless mismatch.

I also enjoy this building and it is distinctive from afar. Up close, I find the melding of the original building (a warehouse built in the 1930s I believe) a little unsettling.

I was blown away on driving up 8th Ave on a recent trip to New York and saw this building. One of the more architecturally exciting buildings to be built in NY recently (much better than the Freedom Tower!)
